2011 JUNIOR GOLF CLASSES
Begins June 7th
• Four One Hour Sessions
• Beginners or Intermediates
• Ages 8-16
• Emphasis on swing, club selection and etiquette
• Two to Four Holes of Golf followed by Participation Awards and Lunch on the last day.
• Adults are encouraged to attend the final day
• All Classes 9:00am to 10:00am - Tuesday through Friday
• Cost of each school is $80
• School 1: June 7, 8, 9, and 10
• School 2: July 12, 13, 14, and 15
• School 3: August 2, 3, 4, and 5
2011 JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE
Begins June 13th
• Nine Hole League (2 hour time limit)
• Limited to 24 Juniors, enabling better supervision and control
• Ages 11-16 ** (10 year olds or less may be accepted based on ability)
• League Play --Mondays, June 13, 20, 27 & July 11, 18---Tee Times begin at 10:15a.m. Tournament - Monday, July 25th. Tee times from 10:15 am.
• Awards Ceremony and Lunch follows the Tournament.
• Emphasis on Rules, Scoring, Etiquette, and Pace of Play.
• $50 League Fee - Includes Surprises and Lunch after the Tournament
• $10 Green Fees each play date.
* All League members must be able to keep pace with the group and have a general knowledge of the game, including etiquette, club selection and scoring. All candidates must obtain pro approval prior to joining. If the golf staff is not familiar with your current playing level, please contact the pro shop to arrange an evaluation.
ADULT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: If you ar e familiar with the game of golf and would like to volunteer as an assistant during league play or as a scorer during the league tournament, contact the pro shop. League play volunteers will rove the course and assist the juniors in etiquette, pace of play and rules.
2011 Family Fun Golf Days--Free instruction for the entire family from the professional staff at River Glen. Includes free range balls, exciting golf contests, and free ice cream to finish things off.
